VIRTUAL REALITY… SO FAR
We’re not, of course, saying that virtual reality is, flat-out, a fad, and that it won’t succeed. It’s too early for that. VR actually seems like a good idea right now, and there have been a few games, to be completely honest, that have done VR really well, Resident Evil 7 being the best of the lot. But really, it just hasn’t taken off the way we would have hoped. As things stand right now, VR has been a bit of a disappointment, and at least in the immediate future, we can’t really point at any game and call it as the game that will define VR. We’re keeping our fingers crossed, though- we want VR to blow us away and prove us wrong. Let’s hope it happens soon- or at the very least, that it happens.
