AUGMENTED REALITY
Augmented reality is the kind of thing that can sound like an excellent idea on paper, and can actually seem somewhat impressive (for its potential, if nothing else), at the very first glance. But spend just a little bit of time with it, and you realize that it’s not something that can withhold your attention for too long- in most cases, at least. Credit where it’s due, Niantic’s Pokemon Go actually did AR very well, to the point where people were addicted to the game for months at end, but let’s face it, that was more down to the fact that it was a Pokemon game than anything else.
