MOVIE TIE-INS
It’s very hard to think of a single person who regularly plays video games and doesn’t groan at the very thought of movie tie-in video games, and that’s because movie tie-ins have consistently and almost constantly been flag-bearers for mediocrity. Sure, there have been a few over the years that have been the exceptions – the exceptional Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 come to mind, as do some of the earlier Harry Potter games – but usually, a movie tie-in is pretty much guaranteed to be a half-assed, broken experience that isn’t really worth your time or your money.
