There’s no shortage of franchises of developers that have met untimely ends under the ownership of EA, but one of the ones that sting us the most is Dead Space. Visceral Games’ incredible horror franchise delivered two excellent games (and one mediocre one), but with the studio itself having shut down and Dead Space not fitting within EA’s live service-oriented business model, the franchise doesn’t seem to have much of a future.
