Max Payne is a rare example of a video game franchise that had no missteps. Max Payne 1, 2, and 3 are all incredible games- and yet, it doesn’t look like we’re going to get to play Max Payne 4 anytime soon. The property is owned by Rockstar, and as we’ve already talked about, they’re focused entirely on their two flagpole franchises, and probably will be for the foreseeable future. As much as we would love to play a new Max Payne game, there just isn’t anything to indicate that that will be possible anytime soon.
