Ah, Fou-Lu, the emperor who rises up several centuries later to reclaim his empire and is betrayed in the early going by his own troops. We kind of resonate with Fou-Lu’s struggle and there are even key moments where we control him. Of course, it’s eventually revealed that Fou-Lu and protagonist Ryu are actually two halves. If merged with Fou-Lu as the dominant personality, humanity is essentially wiped out. Fortunately, there is a way to bring him to the side of good.
