KIBOMBO MOUNTAINS- GOLDEN SUN: THE LOST AGE
Why did all these otherwise excellent JRPGs used to insist on having at least one mandatory, poorly designed forced stealth section. Kibombo Mountains was one of two forced stealth dungeons in Golden Sun: The Lost Age, and it was maddeningly annoying. During Felix and co’s pursuit of Piers, the group finds itself having to pass through the region of Kibombo, which is an area that is littered with guards. Rather than fighting these guards, though, which would have been great, the game forces players to sneak past them, and every time a guard spots you, you’re sent right back to the beginning of the level, forcing you to go through the entire thing all over again.
