At a certain point in Lost Odyssey, players find themselves locked up in a cell, obviously having to sneak out and make it past guards without being spotted. Except just like Golden Sun: The Lost Age, this is an RPG that lacks even the most rudimentary stealth mechanics, and yet you’re forced to make use of these non-existent mechanics either way. Every time you’re spotted, you’re sent right back to your cell. The fact that the section isn’t too long, and that, if you look around, you can actually find some shortcuts, makes it a little less annoying, to be fair.
