Let’s get straight to the point. Final Fantasy XV is a departure for the series and part of this is due to the structure of the game. It’s more like a road trip than an epic quest, but it’s a shame that so much of the game is spent driving down straight roads with very little control and often no way to skip the trip. All you can do is sit and watch the scenery pass by as Noctis and friends drive down the coast.
