WARSAW
Combining the artistic, storytelling, and gameplay style of Darkest Dungeon with a historic setting and a grim, grounded tone sounds like an excellent premise, and if executed properly, Warsaw could have been one of the standout games of the year. Obviously, that ended up not happening. Warsaw was lacking in meaningful content, its systems felt thread-bare and ultimately unengaging, and there was a pervading feeling that the game just wasn’t doing enough with its interesting premise. Warsaw has some moments of brilliance every now and then, but it is, overall, just too inconsistent to be easy to recommend to anyone.
