Protagonist’s Character Development Issues
Open worlds often come with plenty of ways to shape and mold your own character. But even though the decisions the game presents may be black and white, deciding what path to travel down is never this simple. Games like Fallout 4 let you choose how you will be remembered in the world you inhabit and how you will interact with it. Do you want to only use melee weapons and be great at persuasion but be remembered as a tyrant? There never seems to be a clear answer. Its easy to get lost in the open world games, so lost that it often comes at the risk of the main protagonist’ character development.
