Gears Tactics delivered a far better turn-based strategy Gears of War experience on PC in 2020 than most would have expected, and upon the Xbox Series X/S’ launch, it made its console debut as well, releasing as a cross-gen title. Given how good the game is, you can’t really go wrong with either platform, but running at 4K and 60 FPS as it does on the Xbox Series X, that experience is unmatched. Sure, higher frame rates might not be that important in a turn-based strategy title, but even if you’re looking just at image quality, this is still a noticeable step up.
