STILL WAKES THE DEEP

The Chinese Room is no stranger to first-person horror adventure games, and earlier this year, the developer once again showcased its talents in that area with Still Wakes the Deep. Boasting an incredible setting, gorgeous visuals, and some of the best written and acted characters we’ve seen in a game in recent memory, the game strikes the perfect balance between its tantalizing horror premise and the more personal and intimate side of its storytelling. The end result may not be groundbreaking, but it still shouldn’t be missed, especially if you value a good story in a game.
