G.I. JOE: WRATH OF COBRA
Fans of beat ’em ups have been treated to a pleasantly shocking number of great new releases in recent years, but it’s fair to say that G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra doesn’t warrant a place on that list. It sports a vibrant retro aesthetic and combat can be occasionally enjoyable, but from poorly designed bosses to repetitive encounters to overly straightforward levels, it disappoints in too many areas that are critical in any beat ’em up.
