CONCORD
The core of Concord itself actually had its strengths, from the solid shooting mechanics to the top-notch production values exhibited throughout the game, but you don’t need us to tell you that that wasn’t enough to rescue the game. Following tepid critical reception and horrendous sales, the game was pulled offline within just two weeks while Sony also issued mass refunds to everyone who bought it, while not long afterward, the game’s death was made permanent with the shuttering of developer Firewalk Studios. Concord is one of the biggest and most high-profile flops in gaming history, and the fact that statement can be said without a hint of exaggeration should tell you everything you need to know about how much of a disaster the whole thing was.
