Supermassive Games has made a habit out of releasing critically and commercially successful horror adventure games, and by all accounts, that’s what Dead by Daylight spinoff The Casting of Frank Stone should have been. It is, however, a rare blip for the studio. Though visually impressive and boasting solid acting performances (as is always the case with any Supermassive joint), Frank Stone fails in almost every way that’s important- from nonsensical storytelling and bland gameplay and more.
