Shooting Ocelot
As always, fights in Metal Gear are filled with all sorts of easter eggs and references to not just the other games in the franchise, but to general pop culture and media in general. In this case, if you were to shoot at Ocelot with a Tranquilizer Gun, you’d make him sort of… stoned. Seriously. He gets high and dopey, and starts sort of slurring his speech, and saying all sorts of weird stuff, mentioning the Patriots, LaLiLeLo, and other random things from Metal Gear lore.
