Of course, Halo would go on to wow Xbox audiences again not long after the first game’s release with Halo 2, a game that managed to live up to ridiculously high expectations in almost all ways possible. With a much better designed and more diverse campaign, a significantly more engaging plot, and improvements to combat with dual-wielding, improvements to driving and the AI, and much more, it was the perfect sequel. Of course, it’s abrupt ending was a bit of a bummer, especially at the time, but there was just so much to love in Halo 2– especially its much more expanded competitive multiplayer component.
