STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC
Given how many iconic classics BioWare’s catalog of games boasts, calling Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic one of the developer’s best games ever made is no light praise. Choice-driven storytelling, engaging characters, a rich world, and mechanically dense role playing all came together in a package that was not just set against the backdrop of the Star Wars universe, but actually leveraged it in all the right ways. KOTOR remains one of the best RPGs ever made, and we can only hope that its remake will do justice to its legacy.
