Neva

Like Gris, Nomada Studio’s gorgeous new side-scroller hits you right out of the gate, with Alba caring for a surviving wolf pup against the backdrop of a crumbling world. Neva is more than a parable for preserving nature – it’s also an emotional journey cycling through parenthood, growing up, moving on, and back. It also doesn’t hurt that the gameplay is solid all around, with excellent platforming and combat in some of the most gorgeous hand-drawn 2D environments you’ll ever see.
