Kojima coming back to PS3 thanks to Modern Warfare 2

PS3 owners will soon be seeing a return of the legendary Hideo Kojima thanks to the success of Modern Warfare 2.

In what is most certainly a welcome return to Sony’s main console, Kojima will be turning his attention away from his PSP after development of Peace Walker is finished, according to Connected Consoles.

Speaking in Playstation Magazine Issue 040 for January 2010, Kojima said, “After seeing Modern Warfare 2, I feel like I want to use all the modern specs!”

Regarding the question of why he is continuing to develop Peace Walker for PSP, he had this to say, “I wanted some young people to play MGS too. In Japan especially, the most popular hardware with this audience was the PSP.”

Fair enough I suppose, but hell, I want you back Kojima!
