Kingdom Rush
The mobile platform is home to a number of great tower defense titles and Kingdom Rush is perhaps the best. It does this by throwing in unit production, hero characters with their own powers (with new ones that can be earned through levelling up) and upgrades, well-designed maps, full voice acting and a fetching art style. The only real downside to the first game being free is that you’ll want to immediately pony up the cash for the sequel and prequel. Don’t worry – they’re well worth the price if you love fun strategy tower defense action.
