That’s right folks, 2K Games has announced a rather exciting, if bizarre way for fans to get their hands on a free copy of Borderlands 2.

On Sunday 23rd September, budding psychos can totter along to Ely’s Yard in Brick Lane, London, attendees who opt to jump from a specially designed Borderlands 2 crane will win a copy of the game, as well as one of the most exhilarating times of their life.

Wanting to capitalise on the inherent nature of Borderlands fans, UK PR Manager of 2K Games and resident mental Ben Lawrence said, “We want to provide an afternoon of extreme fun and discover just how psycho Borderlands 2 fans can get. A bungee jump is the perfect way to truly test your nerves and we’re excited to bring the insane pleasure of the game into the real world!”

Operating on a first-come first-served basis, jumps will take place between 10:00am and 4:00pm.

Borderlands 2 reaches North America on 18th September and everywhere else on 21st September and keep your eyes peeled as our review goes live tomorrow at 5am.
