We waited a long, long time for Psychonauts 2, but it’s fair to say that Double Fine Productions’ platforming sequel somehow managed to exceed all expectations when it finally did come out. From gameplay improvements to its ingenious story, writing, and characters, Psychonauts 2 is a game that succeeds in all the ways you’d expect it to, and then some. Owing to its very nature, it hasn’t seen the sort of mainstream success that it maybe deserves to- but those who’ve played the game will tell you that it’s absolutely unmissable.
