Supermassive had it rough with The Casting of Frank Stone, where its usually detailed visuals feel short due to the overall presentation. Based on footage thus far, Directive 8020 looks graphically superior from its character models (including Lashana Lynch who plays “Young”) to the alien vegetation and atmospheric lighting. It’s out this year and thus far, we’re digging The Thing-like ambience.
