Many people have been speculating that the Halo game 343 Industries have been working on is either a remake of the previous Halo games, or maybe just a spin-off. 343, however, insist that it is in the canon franchise.
Frank O’Connor, boss of 343, said, while talking to OXM, that their Halo game will not be a departure from the franchise’s story and feel like ODST was. “We have nothing to announce right now, but I can tell you we’re not working on any side stories as games at the moment,” he said. “There’ll certainly be more Halo fiction entering the universe, but we’ve no new games to announce right now.”
Well, he still hasn’t mention “4.”
Recently, a report surfaced about a Halo: Combat Evolved HD remake being in development at Saber. We hope it’s true.
