Bombshell

3D Realms’ Bombshell, an isometric shooter which seems every bit as kitschy and cheesy as its older properties, has received a new trailer. You can check it out below as it provides some context to the game’s story (read: Save the President). No new gameplay footage though so prepare yourself for the absence of that.

What’s most interesting is the antagonist for the game though. Professor Jadus Heskel is opposing Bombshell but his voice actor Jon St. John is notable for voicing Duke Nukem himself throughout the years. Will that lead to lines about ass-kicking and chewing bubblegum? One can certainly hope (read: No, it won’t).

Bombshell will be releasing for PC on January 29th. It’s also due to release on PS4 and Xbox One though 3D Realms hasn’t exactly confirmed when. What are your thoughts on the new trailer? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates.
