E3 Splinter Cell Blacklist
Every Splinter Cell fan loved Michael Ironside as the voice of Sam Fisher. When Splinter Cell Blacklist debuted, fans were a bit upset to learn that Ironside would be reprising his role as Sam Fisher and this caused a lot of fans to express their anger in many colourful ways. And I can’t really help but feel sorry for Eric Johnson, the new actor behind Sam Fisher’s digital visage and the new voice for him. There is nothing wrong with his performance, but when you come from previous entries in the series with Michael Ironside lending his voice to the character for years it does detract from the character a lot. It will obviously take a while for fans to adjust and accept the change.
