Many video games depict violence, but there are a few games about war that depict situationally incorrect violence. The game trailer shows North Korean soldiers shooting innocent people, and you subsequently take the fight to them. You’ll see soldiers blasted to chunky red stains by execution squads as mothers plead with their children to turn away. It’s no wonder that this trailer and game came under such scrutiny and was subject to a lot of controversy. The Homefront game advertising has simulated a lot of heat in mainstream websites and media, which created a lot of confusion amongst many non-gamers. The developers and advertisers of the game had really bad timing of the advertising of the game.
