So gamers were really not impressed with Tony Hawk Ride. In fact the trailer was spurned because it actually showcased the pinnacle of crappy plastic instruments with a board that even actual skaters proclaimed as dumb and unwieldy. This got the wrong kind of attention of attention and of course, Ride was an awful game to boot. This resulted in the least selling and most critically panned entrant in the series, which resulted in the cancellation of the next game.
