The PlayStation 3 has had some great games ever since it’s inception 4 years ago, Through this article we pay homage to 50 of the best PlayStation 3 Games that you should play if you own the console or in other words these are 50 reasons to own a PS3!

50.  Folklore

Set in the mysterious town of Doolin, two strangers, Keats and Ellen, are drawn together to uncover a mysterious legend in a remote village that exists on the border between dreams and reality. They soon learn that the town serves as a gateway to fantastic realms, full of creatures, spirits and monsters. In order to solve the mystery of the town, and their past, the pair must journey through these worlds to uncover its secrets.

49. Motorstorm

MotorStorm’s savage off-road racing throws players into a frighteningly realistic series of races spread across Monument Valley – a breathtakingly hostile environment above, below and over the American desert. Races are no-holds-barred jostle-‘em-up as players battle for racing lines, negotiate heart-stopping jumps and discover secret shortcuts in wheel-to-wheel races which redefine the word ‘carnage’.

48. MLB 10: The Show

The gameplay in The Show has been enhanced considerably with improved logic, animations, and presentations resulting in a wider variety of hit types (including more choppers), ball collision improvements enabling bounces off of any part of the batter’s body, comebackers to the mound, ability to rob HRs, and more—all new aspects of the gameplay that not only look great, but feel right.

47. Unreal Tournament 3

Unreal Tournament 3 marked the return of the world’s premiere first-person shooter on the PLAYSTATION 3 system. Unreal Tournament 3 unleashes the full power of Unreal Engine 3, taking graphics, gameplay, and challenge to a whole new level. Players engage in intense and hyper-real battles with other human players online, or against Unreal artificial intelligence that sets the industry standard. With the most powerful futuristic weapons and vehicles available, this is FPS action at its best!

46. Sports Champions

Sports Champions uses the move technology so well and offers enough variety in the sports present to be almost everyone’s cup of tea. With so much fun to be had and an excellent pricing strategy it is very hard not to recommend Sports Champions. In fact I would probably go as far as saying that it is an essential purchase to get the full enjoyment out of your PS Move this Holiday.
