Developed by JustTomcuk, Abandoned Souls is an interesting take on a horror game based on found footage – and it’s also one of the very few solo-developer projects that have seen the light of day. The game’s story revolves around a vlogger investigating an abandoned hospital at the behest of his viewers, and things soon start to take a dark turn as the story unfolds and takes you down a rabbit hole of prior missing cases and murky secrets that hide within the walls of this hospital. Everything from the environments to the sound design and jumpscares is quality stuff, and the GoPro-themed camera really helps immerse you in the world.
