Prison Torture
Again, this is something that the The Phantom Pain trailer had showcased. Prisoners of war have almost never known to be treated gently. It doesn’t matter what role had they played before their capture, they all carry the same identity afterwards. And the kind of treatment meted out on war prisoners is abhorable to say the least.
The game’s trailer shows water being poured over a hooded prisoner, and just as breathing becomes hell for him, receives the butt of a rifle in his guts. This is just one of the ways war prisoners are tortured, from keeping prisoners in dark cells, bound and gagged, to having having electric chairs, humans have thought of everything. And Kojima, having taken a step towards such vileness, would know better to overlook such things.
