25. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Back in the day, Nintendo Power was running a contest to offer lucky winners a chance to be featured in A Link to the Past on the SNES. The winner was Chris Houlihan who had his own room full of blue rubies in the game. The Chris Houlihan room has since been carried forward in every iteration A Link to the Past to date, effectively immortalizing the guy.
