Yes Spider-man and Batman make an appearance in the game. Both Spider-Man and Batman are actually imposter characters that is originally the shape shifter, who alters his appearance after sustaining a certain amount of damage. It is fun to see Spidey and Batman fight a ninja, and it is more satisfying taking them on and defeating them however tough they may be.
