Rage Confirmed For The iPhone

Posted By | On 14th, Aug. 2010

John Carmack has announced that the visually stunning Rage, will also be available for the iPhone.

John presented the game running on the iPhone at QuakeCon, showcasing it’s stunning visuals and how it runs at 60 fps, stating that the game can “kill anything done on the Xbox or PlayStation 2”.

The game will only run on the iPhone 4 and the 3GS, and Kotaku even said that it “might even be able to give a few current-gen titles a run for their money”.

John stated that there will be two versions of the game, a “show-off” version of the game will be released this year, while the full game will be released along side the console versions in 2011.
