Space Invaders Infinity Gene released on PSN and XBL

Square Enix today announced that Space Invaders Infinity Gene is now available for download on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 and on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360.

Space Invaders, the game that defined video games for generations, is back with a new twist! The game starts off with the classic Space Invaders look, but as you rack up your score, it evolves. Unlock new stages, sounds, power ups, and new features. The game moves from fixed two-dimensional graphics to high-speed side-scrolling and gradually on into full 3D.
