The multiplayer beta for God of War: Ascension will be opening soon, and Sony wants you to sign up for it and see how the franchise handles the pressures of competitive online.

All you have to do to be a part of it is sign up at Ascension’s beta sing-up page. You need to do this before December 7th, Friday. Of course, not all of you will be selected, but those who are “chosen” will be sent an email when God of War: Ascension’s beta is ready to be accessed by players. You will be given access to the Ascension section of PSN beta. Log in to the PSN beta and you can redeem your codes for Ascension’s multiplayer trial.

God of War: Ascension is the first game in the God of War series to tread outside of multiplayer. Ascension will have 8 player online, all players battling each other while trying to defeat gargantuan bosses in the background.

Stay tuned for more info.
