Yosuke Hayashi has announced Dead or Alive 5 for the Playstation Vita which is scheduled for release next year. The game looks great on the Vita as shown by Hayashi himself. The game was released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 earlier this year and our review praised the game.

It’s a fighter franchise in case you don’t know and such games have been pretty great on the Vita as evident by our Street Fighter X Tekken review.

Hayashi didn’t reveal a lot of information on the game but he said that it will be released soon and they are planning a lot of features for the PS Vita version of the game.

You can check out the video above, it’s in Japanese but there are English subtitles.
