Mass Effect 3’s next DLC has music that has potential to make you cry – Bioware

Bold words.

Mass Effect 3 as a franchise did bring a lot of people on verge of tears, however, it’s nothing like, say, Nubou Uematsu’s music in Final Fantasy 10 where a lot of people broke down during the ending. However, after the Omega DLC, the next DLC has music that has the potential to bring people to tears, says a Bioware designer.

As much as eight writers of Bioware are behind the DLC which makes it a high production affair.

“It’s all hands on deck for this one. Pretty much every ME3 DLC writer here in Edmonton is involved,” said designer Jos Hendriks on Bioware forums as reported by Eurogamer.

Sam Hulick who is set to make the music for the DLC tweeted that “What I’m up to lately: working on an unannounced Mass Effect 3 DLC! More details on this coming later on. Tossing in piano and muted strings for this one particular piece. High potential for tears.”

Well BioWare really needs to pick up its game after the Omega DLC where Aria turned out to be obnoxious and the DLC wasn’t really that good.
