Borderlands 2 Update Fixes “Hilarious” Glitch, New In-game Event to Start Soon

And the madness on Pandora never ends.

Borderlands 2, in case you haven’t noticed, likes to mock fans of the FPS/looting genre. You find guns in toilets. The respawn point looks forward to your next demise. Friggin’ Claptrap. And there’s more, but really, why put yourself through that torture when you’re just going to keep playing?

This humour extends to the DLC as well apparently. Gearbox has announced a new update that fixes some bugs, one of them being the Mechromancer’s summon Death Trap reviving your enemies’ shields. Gearbox’s take on this? “Deathtrap can no longer restore an enemy’s shields, even though it was hilarious.”

The sickos. But they really made some actual fixes, including “a bug that caused off-hand weapons to sometimes deal improper damage while Gunzerking” and “an issue where shotguns did not receive full damage boosts from skills and gear”. Check out the full list of fixes here.

In other news, Gearbox Software’s in-game events for the weekend are still on-going. Though the shotgun spree may be over, the newest event has started today and should wrap up tomorrow before the release of Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt DLC is out this week.
