Witcher 3 Announcement Soon, CD Projekt RED Teases With A Sword Image

Boy oh boy! One of the my favorite role playing games of 2011 is all set to receive a sequel. I guess I got carried away there but CD Projekt RED have been teasing the Witcher 3 for some time now and it is only super obvious that Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will get it’s much deserved successor.

A few hours ago, CD Projekt RED posted the image below. The image is nothing out of the ordinary, is a normal sword but hey, which of the CD Projekt’s game has a sword as the main weapon? There are no prizes for guessing.

Not only that, they even said the following: ‘Oh, and if you are wondering what’s that in that picture above – well, we’ll leave it for your imagination to answer. :)’ Of course we are reading you right.

witcher 3

Last week, CD Projekt RED revealed the first trailer of CyberPunk 2077 which had cryptic messages that indicated a Witcher 3 reveal. So, now it is only a matter of time before the game is officially announced.

If the game is announced, do you think the game will go next-gen? Do you think it will also be available on current gen consoles? Judging by the company’s history and their hunger for developing technological advanced games, a next gen release is a best bet at the moment.
