AMD has sued four employees who used to work at the company and have mentioned in their complaint that they have forensic evidence of their involvement in transferring sensitive documents.

It has to be noted that these ex-employees now work at Nvidia and AMD has not mentioned that company in their filing yet.

Robert Feldstein, Manoo Desai, Nicholas Kociuk, and Richard Hagen are the people named by AMD and the first one was actually part of their next-gen efforts and possibly knew many info about the next-gen consoles which were going to be partly built by the company.

The AMD complaint reveals that “He [Feldstein] transferred sensitive AMD documents, and in the next six months, the three defendants either did the same thing, violated ‘no-solicitation of employees’ promises, or both — all obvious violations of common law, statute, and/or contracts with AMD.”

“AMD claims to have forensic evidence that three of the four defendants transferred more than 10,000 confidential files in total, with the names of the files in question matching “either identically or very closely to the names of files on their AMD systems that include obviously confidential, proprietary, and/or trade secret materials related to developing technology.”

Say tuned for more developments on this issue.

Thanks, Extremetech.
