Hotline Miami, the indie tribute of love for sleaze and action, is 50 percent off this weekend on Steam. Starting from, well, yesterday afternoon to Monday morning PST, you can avail of the discount by heading here.
Honestly, considering it’s one of the coolest games ever created, there’s simply no reason to skip out on it.
However, if the gameplay isn’t your cup of tea, you can still hit up Steam for a high quality gaggle of MP3s for the game’s original soundtrack, available for $9.99/€9.99/£6.99. The track list includes songs by Sun Araw, Coconuts, M|O|O|N, Jasper Byrne and many many more.
Developed by Dennaton Games, the two man team of Jonatan Söderström and Dennis Wedin, and published by Devolver Digital, Hotline Miami is a 2D top-down action game which emphasizes the 1980’s noir mood with tons of friggin’ violence. The game takes heavy inspiration from 2011’s Drive starring Ryan Gosling. Honestly, how many more reasons do you need?
