Kalypso Media has unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming stealth action RPG DARK, which focuses on vampires and annihilating enemies with a brutal combination of spells like disappearing in a puff of smoke, stealth and quick melee attacks like bounding to your target in seconds. But more than anything, it’s the story of Eric Bane.
Poor, poor Eric Bane. As a newly born vampire, who has no idea what’s happening, he must ravage through the new world and try to find out exactly what is happening, particularly when it comes to the vampires of the GeoForge corporation. That means lots of sneaking and plenty of ultra violence.
While we haven’t seen a lot of stellar vampire games released, with the suitably “meh” Vampires: The Masquerade – Bloodlines releasing several years ago to both average criticism and below average sales, DARK looks interesting enough to warrant a look.
DARK is currently set to release in Q2 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PC.
