Tomb Raider, Crystal Dynamics’ reboot of the classic action adventure franchise, is getting quite the raving reception. As the game finally goes on sale at retial for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, the developer has released a new trailer to…well, just show off we suppose.

The trailer actually reveals some awesome gameplay elements, such as the ability to deploy rope arrows to pull down structures with enemies on them, and set pieces like a choice battle with a hulking enemy. Needless to say, there’s enough action and adventure to sink your teeth into.

There’s also the multiplayer aspect, and we’ll learn about the reception to that as people get online and test it out. Considering the attention the single-player has recived, we can only guess how the multiplayer will fair.

Tomb Raider is published by Square Enix. You can check out our official review of the game (spoilers: it’s pretty damn good) right here.
