The upcoming sequel to Nintendo’s original fright-fest on the Gamecube finally has a confirmed release date for Europe. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will be arriving on the Nintendo 3DS in the region on March 28th, with a day earlier release for specific countries.
Luigi returns to the ghost-busting business with the help of Professor E. Gadd and using the new Poltergust 5000. Unlike the original game though, you’ll be completing as many puzzles as nabbing ghosts. The Poltergust will still need upgrades though, and the new Dark Light Device attachment will help in revealing invisible clues and objects.
The device will be used often for either manipulating switches via suction or revealing concealed switches via blowing. The environments are also significantly more expanded this time, featuring three haunted mansions instead of one. Also lots of ghosts, because they have nothing better to do but haunt Luigi.
Watch out for the game when it releases later this month.
