Tank! Tank! Tank! Normally retails for $49.99, however the US Wii U players will now be able to download the basic version of the game at no cost through the Wii U’s eShop.
People who download the game through the eShop can also unlock bits of the game’s content for small one-off payments.
The basic version of the game will take up 1.5GB of space. Owners of the game can unlock six Versus Mode arenas for $1.99 a pop, the Monster Battle Arenas for $3.99 each, and Story Mission mode at $9.99.
The game also includes My Kong mode for $1.99. The $1.99 price-tag represents an 80% discount on the regular price which is $9.99 and will be available on May 15th.
