Despite releasing on PC, Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Online has been delayed continuously for the Wii U. This was done to focus on the PC version, but it doesn’t seem that its status is any different from when the delay was first announced.

Responding to a fan’s question, the official Twitter account revealed that the game is still very much on hold:

It’s not as though Ubisoft is giving the Wii U the shaft though. The publisher has continuously supported the console with launch titles, and will be releasing several next gen titles for the console including Watch_Dogs, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Assassin’s Creed IV. Heck, it even released an exclusive Challenge mode for Rayman Legends to make up for the fact the game had been delayed for multiplatform development.

Nonetheless, fans interested in seeing how the game fares on Nintendo’s console will need to wait a good while longer. And by that we mean an indefinite amount of time. Stay tuned.
