Square Enix have revealed new classes and jobs for their upcoming game, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The new classes include the Arcanist, a class that looks like it places emphasis on lore and magic, and the Summoner, a class that is well established in FInal Fantasy lore across previous games in the franchise, and which lets players summon beasts using mana temporarily to assist them in battle. Other classes revealed included the Scholar.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is an MMORPG developed by Square Enix as the follow up to the earlier MMO Final Fantasy XI. It is the reboot and second incarnation of Final Fantasy XIV, which originally released three years ago to widespread critical panning. The new and redone MMO will be releasing on the PC and Playstation 3 this fall, with a beta planned in July. A Playstation 4 version has also been planned for next year.
